SUN

This is the UV-C LED Fluorescent product group of Steriled product group which can be used instead of UV-C fluorescent. Traditional UV-C fluorescents have an approximately 6-month lifecycle. Steriled SUN products are highlighted for their long lifecycle. While the products with classic fluorescent have a 6-month lifecycle, Steriled SUN products and applications have a long lifecycle. These products enable you to use them for a long time without replacement and you will be safe. Since the replacement period is longer, this product helps you to save 80% of service and maintenance costs.

There are three different length and power options for usage and application fields. A project plan should be prepared for the desired power and effect in the usage and application. The product cannot be used as an illumination armature on its own. Flush mounting and surface mounting are possible and the device should be used with a driver (adapter).

UV-C solution must be effective and safe with the correct application design to use the Steriled Sun products.

The traditional air cleaners use cartridge filters to capture the pollutants and remove the particles and other pollutants from the interior. These High-Efficiency Particle Air (HEPA) filters can eliminate 99.97% of the particles. However, HEPA filters cannot remove small pathogenic microorganisms such as the flu virus or volatile organic components from the environment.

The commonly used air humidifiers add humidity to the air to prevent the skin, nose, throat and lips to be irritated. However, air humidifier tanks require frequent maintenance to prevent bacteria and mold formation which can pollute the air. The existing devices can be maintained by using chemical cleaners which can damage the humidifying material and cause odor. Humidifying the air or cleaning the air with a HEPA filter device might not be the right option during the pandemic. UV-C radiation is the right choice in most cases to neutralize the harmful microorganisms and viruses in the air with the right methods.

Correct Usage

UV radiation is in Risk Group 3 according to IEC 62471. Just like all other disinfection systems, UV-C lamps and devices should be installed and used correctly. Being directly subjected to UV-C might be dangerous and cause sunburn-like reactions on the skin and serious cornea damage. Since UV-C is invisible to the eye, the operators should strictly adhere to the user manual and/or mounting details when the UV-C product’s air device, conveyor and internal parts are cleaned and used in closed spaces.
